Elementary

For students in their early elementary years, Schoolhouse Montessori provides multi-age classrooms and a curriculum based on the Montessori model and philosophy. Our elementary students experience:

• A learning approach that meets personal needs and progresses at an individual pace;
• A curriculum that encompasses all academic areas, integrating subjects through meaningful, real-life projects;
• An environment that encourages active learning and discovery; and
• A process of learning that motivates the child's philosophical spirit.

Students learn the basics at an accelerated rate, plus foreign language, music, art, drama, physical education and technology. They learn to think critically and build social skills, including conflict resolution.
